Standard containers can be made into a variety of different uses. What might take years to build with traditional construction methods, will take only months with container based accelerated construction methods. A steel container creates a robust structure that can resist damage during transport and when installed on site. Designed to be easily stacked and moved, Standard ISO 20 and 40 foot containers are extremely flexible as a basic modular component. Pre-construction of ceiling, walls, and floors at the factory makes it easy to transform these structures into usable working and living space. Southside can do anything from standard modifications to the existing container include cutting doors, window and HVAC holes in the steel walls. Converting existing steel containers for office and housing purposes saves time and money, as well as creates an environmental benefit through the repurposing of an existing structure. The structure acts as its own shipping container reducing additional costs when transported abroad. Our container building systems are not only more cost effective than traditional construction, but the manufacturing processes we use allow our systems to be fully manufactured and outfitted offsite in a controlled environment, while on-site work is being completed in preparation for installation. With these two processes occurring simultaneously, the total project completion time is drastically diminished.
